Measure the size of your group and its spread: get its angular value in MOA and MIL, plus its equivalent at 100 m to compare your shooting sessions.
A measurement in centimeters means nothing without the distance: 3 cm at 50 m and 3 cm at 200 m do not represent the same level of accuracy at all. By converting it to MOA (minute of angle), you get a measurement that is independent of distance and therefore comparable from one shooting session to the next.
A 30 mm (3 cm) group at 100 m is worth about 1.03 MOA: your rifle and ammunition are practically “sub-MOA.” The same 3 cm group at 200 m would be worth about 0.52 MOA—twice as accurate.
Armory keeps track of your groupings by weapon and distance, and tracks your progress. 100% free.
