Actual range of the return spring?

The manual says 5,000, the community says 4,000. After measuring with a comparator, 4,000 is the correct figure for competition use.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private?
Yes. Your bookshelf, sessions, and reviews are strictly private and visible only to you, including in the database. The community is restricted to logged-in members, and you appear there under your username. The only directly identifying information we hold is your email address: it is never publicly displayed or associated with your contributions.
Do I need to provide the serial numbers of my firearms?
No, never. Armory does not ask for any serial numbers. You are free to describe your firearms (manufacturer, model, caliber) without providing any information that would link them to your official identity.
Can I keep my firearm documents (receipt, permit)?
No, on purpose. We don't store any official documents related to firearms: these documents link a real person's identity to a firearm, which is too sensitive. Keep your originals at home, offline, and simply note the expiration dates in the notes section of your records.
How does the stroke counter work, and what does maintenance involve?
Each recorded session records the number of rounds fired. This number is automatically added to the counter for the firearm and for each wear-and-tear part (spring, extractor, barrel, etc.). Armory then triggers maintenance reminders at the right time, based on thresholds specific to each firearm category and calculated using your actual shots fired—not a calendar schedule.
Are the proposed improvements reliable?
Each enhancement is proposed by the community and then approved by the team before it appears. Armory shows you only those that are compatible with your weapons and indicates which ones you've already installed.
Is it really free?
Yes, it's 100% free, with no credit card required. Your data remains yours and can be exported at any time from your profile.
