Handguns: Simplicity Wins Out
In 9×19, there is no measurable correlation between barrel cleaning frequency and accuracy for fewer than 1,000 rounds. Running a Boresnake once per session and performing a thorough cleaning every 500 rounds is more than sufficient. Instead, focus your attention on the rails and the extractor.

The quick method that almost always works
Powder solvent, ten strokes with a bronze brush, swabs until clean, one lightly oiled swab for storage, and two conditioning strokes before the next match. A complete decoppering, however, is only necessary at long intervals: if done too frequently, it wears down the barrel more than shooting does. Record each cleaning in the maintenance log to determine your ideal interval.
