Terms of Use
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. The Service
Armory is a management platform designed for competitive shooters: gun tracking (private digital rack), training sessions, maintenance, a database of improvements approved by administrators, a support community, and a blog. The service is currently offered free of charge; pricing terms for any future offerings will be communicated before they take effect.
2. Your Account and Your Obligations
- By creating an account, you certify that you are the legal owner of the firearms you are registering, in accordance with the regulations of your country of residence.
- Armory is a personal tracking tool: it is in no way a substitute for your legal obligations (SIA, filings, permits, secure storage, etc.).
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and ensuring that the information you enter is accurate.
- The platform does not permit the sale, transfer, or facilitation of transactions involving weapons.
3. Community Content
Posts, comments, and suggestions for improvement are subject to moderation. The following are strictly prohibited: illegal content, incitement to dangerous or illegal use of weapons, harassment, spam, and any offers to conduct transactions. Administrators may edit, reject, or delete content and suspend an account in the event of a violation. You remain responsible for the content you post and warrant that you hold the rights to any photos you share.
4. “Gunsmith” Badge
The Gunsmith badge is awarded following a manual review (professional documentation and contact information for the registered gun shop). It may be denied or revoked at any time if there is any doubt regarding the authenticity of the professional activity.
5. Data and Privacy
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy. In summary: your feed is private, your community contributions are public under a pseudonym, and you can export your data or delete your account at any time from your profile.
6. Liability
The published content (articles, improvements, community advice) is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice or the opinion of a professional gunsmith. Any work performed on a firearm is your sole responsibility; if in doubt, consult a gunsmith. The service is provided “as is”; we strive to ensure its availability and the integrity of your data but cannot guarantee them absolutely; please back up your data regularly.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate an account in the event of a violation of these terms, after providing notice unless the situation is urgent (illegal content, security breach).
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the publisher’s jurisdiction, subject to the protective provisions applicable to consumers.
